Wireless Electricity or WiTricity, the wireless electricity experiment by MIT Scientists which we wrote nearly 2 years ago, has now gone full fledged. Its A system that can deliver power to devices without the need for wires. The highly anticipated idea has resulted in the formation of WiTricity Corporation. This technology will result in charging the device through the air, without the need of Wires and any physical contact.
Powering up devices takes on magnetic induction, the magical technology is apparently mature enough to be deployed in the relatively near future, and if all goes to plan, "near future" could translate into "18 months from now."
However, I wonder the kind of hardware change which this would require when the whole system turns into reality. And also , the cost consideration should also come into picture , else I would be happy using the traditional wires , no matter how much I hate them.
