Yeah you read it right. As most of you might have seen, I was running Google’s referral adds for the space as shown below, but I found it pretty useless and it was hardly making any money 
. I like to utilize as much space possible, and space utilization + monetization was the aim of the putting google referral adds. So lately, I was wondering how I can utilize it, when this idea cropped in how about thanking and showing some love towards the top commentators of this blog.
How to win ?
Now since I have removed the google referral adds, I have space to display 2 125×125 ads and hence I am giving them to the top commentators of this blog. The winner will be chosen this Sunday, i.e on December 16th,2007 and hence I request all my blog readers to keep their 125 x 125 ad format ready.
The add will be displayed on every single post and will be run till the next winner is decided. You can blog about this and inform your readers to participate. This is the place where adds will be displayed :
Rules
Rules for the 125 x 125 adds :
- Add should not be greater than 15KB in size
- Animation is allowed but no flash
- No illicit material like pornography etc is allowed in the adds.
Please note that one or two words comment (eg: Nice post, Thanks ) wont be counted. I hope to get your positive support for this . The add can be hosted on this site or on the blog of the winner.
Normally, unless you are a professional blogger, I am sure you wont like to spend $500 or more for putting up a button ad on John chow or cow. With this thought in mind, most of the bloggers don’t have a 125×125 ad format ready. So what better chance you can get to create one for your blog when you are getting it displayed for free over tecfre.com .
So guys, just create the add and comment on this blog to win a free 125×125 ad space. You can blog about this post, informing your readers who have not yet created a 125×125 ad spot. Hoping a positive participation from all the readers.
P.S. : I have not decided to remove the top commentator section from my sidebar. So currently, this option is in addition to the text link to the webblog provided by top commetator plugin.

Great contests that can lift your blog up to higher level but how many ads can you accommodate? I can add 125×125 to my blog for 1 month free, what do you think?
I never realized that it was for top commentors until now…I was thinking its just another paid ad….let me try if I can hit it….
