When 1 tb disks were announced , it made a buzz because they can be used conveniently on any PC. But i wonder who will use these high storage memory cards when they are gonna cost equivalent to a high end mobile phone.
Well you dont believe me then read this :
16GB SDHC card is expected to be available in October for around $350 (INR 14,227 approx), the 8GB microSDHC and the 32GB SDHC card are expected in January next year. The 32GB card is tipped to cost nearly $700 (INR 28,455 approx).
Damm !! Also, I dont even know any device which support such high capacity memory cards. Mobiles have maximum capability of upto 2gb or max 4gb ( except nokia E90 which seems to support even 8gb ). Same is with digital cameras also where the max capacity goes upto 4gb. May be I am not aware, but if you are aware of a device which support more than 8gb of memory card do share it with comments also spending $700 for a memory card , i will prefer buying an iphone. What about you ??

well, the way technology is improving things will get cheap too. Don’t buy it now….wait for some time and it will be at the cost of a chocolate.
I would agree with TipsoSaurus here.. The prices do go down after being on the market sometime. But still, I wonder if a device supporting this card is yet to be available to the general public..
@tipsosaurus from 27000 to the cost of chocolate. Man, gonna take long years for that.
@vijay : yeah thats what i mentioned, I havnt heard of any device which support more than 8 GB . So I dont know which audience Toshiba is targetting and that too so early i.e 2008
