At the time that TomTom LIVE Services was launched many in the industry were of the opinion that TomTom had brought the versatility of GPSs to its peak. Little did they know that the company was even considering a more dynamic product the TomTom XL 340S LIVE.

One thing stand clear with the sequel product – routing and data update had been tremendously improved. Of course, many of the users will not know that the information or traffic data offered is downloaded from an external source. The new TomTom XL adds more for driver convenience – you can obtain a real time update of fuel prices, weather and even the QuickGPSfix helpline. In this product, TomTom collaborated with Google in delivery local searches which help to enhance the information and services available to the driver as he goes through unfamiliar areas.

As usual the TomTom LIVE Services is loaded with the critical data that drivers need to manage their driving and traffic with the utmost ease. You will therefore find the TomTom weather services that provide constant alerts and the QuickGPSfix that allows quick satellite connection.

The most outstanding feature in this release is the ability to program destinations for small roads. The system is so detailed that you are able to get traffic conditions even lesser known destinations that do not feature on other GPSs.

If you needed to save money on gas, the fuel prices update is one reason you will want to buy the TomTom LIVE. You do not necessarily have to go from station to station reading notices. Again, the wireless connectivity makes the system easy to use in remote areas. Additionally, drivers will benefit from the incident report as they drive along the way so they know whet is ahead of them. One worry about the product is that it has come too soon. Many are still hearing about the LIVE Services (introduced three months ago) and it may take some time for drivers to appreciate and buy the product.

First, the motorola q9m is the worst data device ever invented. Second, why would you want to have a data device without the data package? Without the data package, it doesn’t do what it was designed to do (internet and email) and just becomes a confusing ogre of a phone.

New state laws prohibit the use of cell phones while driving. Many are turning to a blue tooth wireless connection so they can drive hands-free. Motorists in the state of Washington must use blue tooth wireless technology to comply with the law.

This bill sends a message to all drivers all across the state that talking on your cell phone while driving is dangerous. States have taken action to reduce cell phone related automobiles accidents.

You could connect with your local law enforcement and/or local representative to encourage them to enforce the law regarding pedestrian rights.

I know the psp can connect to it and transfer data between the two, but will it ever be able to become a ‘hot spot’ where I can access the internet over WiFi from it with, say, a laptop with WiFi.

After i try to install these updates, Windows Update tells me that they failed right after it finds a restore point which is why they are still on the list.
