Convert the mpg video files to MP4 or MOV. When the conversion is done, quit MPEG StreamClip and launch iMovie. Drag the converted video files to the Capture area. Edit.

If your camcorder is MiniDV or Digital8 tape based, and if you can get a firewire port added to that computer (does it have a PCMCIA slot available?) then it would be best to transfer video and audio using a firewire cable and the camcorder’s DV port connected with a firewire cable to the computer’s firewire port.

It is really a great launched of Sony has new Handycam HDR-XR200V.I think the amount of time is about right try and full discharge the Battery and recharge the same for about 24 hours this may improve the battery life
