I love this part, “Anyone who exceeds two hours of computer use per day…” So 90% of the world is at risk!
I wont agree 90% . As I wonder there are only 10% either without computer or who work less than 2 hours. Rephrasing it, I think it would be 50 %.
Nice post Kanak. People will like such posts. An it very well proved I am 100% at risk… How about using LCD screens? doesnt it have same effect or has considerably lesser risk?
LCD Screens do pose less risk. The radiation emission is less and also the flicker rate , but you need to work out the brightness and contrast to prevent eye strain. Use less contrast and brightness in low light. But, nothing is risk free , but by taking precautions we can very well minimize the risks.

My friend told me to ar glasses while working with computer. He said it could reduced the radiation effect.
Hi,Computer-related eye strain is a familiar workplace complaint, as many of the employees spend their full shifts in front of a computer without any break. In addition to rooting eye strain that could lead to squinting, dry eyes, and other common discomfort, prolonged periods in front of a computer could as well lead to other physical stresses, if the surroundings is not ergonomically arranged. Always set up your workspace to guard your eyes, along with the rest of the body, as it would keep you improved and more productive. There are a number of steps you could take to look after your eyes so that you would not feel stressed and tired when you arrive home after work.
usually depends if the glasses are in stock at the place where they make their lenses but usually 7-14 days or less if they are in stock.
