I have a aux in, video output, audio output and a coaxial output. And of course a headphone in but if I plug it into that it immediately shuts down the wired speakers. However, if your unit has a tape record output or a line out you can hook that directly to your wireless transmitter with no problems. You can also use the headphone output from your unit and run that to the wireless transmitter but that will cut off your main speakers. A vcr and tv play it there. You could do this but somewhere along the way you'll need an amp/receiver to power the speakers. the unit works with video and audio rca jacks so should work like this.
