Dont worry , it not just another phone like HTC touch or LG prada. I am really glad to inform my readers, that before Sony, Nokia , LG or Motorola could do it, SAMSUNG has done it !! A true Iphone killer competitor is finally launched .

It was hard to believe. When I saw this video a month ago, I thought that it must be another concept which Samsung could be working to somehow create an Iphone competitor. But today, after having a look at the add video (posted at the end of this post) and considering the haptic touch video competely true, I firmly believe that Iphone (unlocked) sales are surely gonna drop in Korea atleast.
Have a look at the haptic video first.
If you had watched the video carefully, you must be able to feel the kind of lively touch it can provide. With the release of this haptic touch phone samsung has just tried to provide a desktop kinda functionality in the standby screen. Touching a small arrow on the bottom left, invokes a quicklaunch kinda a toolbar similiar to windows, from where you can drag and drop icons to customize your own standby screen.
UI rotation is highly extended and now its not only limited to 90 degree, it even gets activated at any angle making your pictures flow like water.
Sneak preview of some of the features :
Features of this phone itself boast the capabilities. Seems like this phone is only going to get released in Korea which is proved by the TV commercial below.
Lets wait for some time till we get the full feature and specification list of this mobile. Seems like this phone is goona cost around $700 to $800.
I do feel the war has kinda begun, with Sony Xperia and Samsung haptic launched, only brand left with hidden cards is Nokia with S60 touch phones.
Definitely great competition to iPhone. Now with almost all cell phone players bringing up good models competitive to iPhone it will be difficult for iphone, especially for the fact that its not available in Asia still.
yeah its a great competition .. but Iphone is not available officially, unofficially it is . And just the kind of functionality these firmware upgrade is adding to iphone (1.1.4) its just getting more and more amazing.
Next week I`ll buy this Samsung
I really like it
wow i really like it! It’s nice!!
But does anyone knows the difference between samsung anycall haptic and the newly launched samsung omnia in singapore? Most of the functions seem the same to me other than the fact that omnia has a 5 MP camera and the omnia dun seem to have the “pictures flow like water” kind of function.
I must say, samsung or rather korea’s brands of phones are really much more stylish! I LOVE THEM!!!
When is this phone going to launch in Singapore.. And Doli, where do you buy this phone at??
