Human minds know no limits, and when it comes to technology there is again no barrier. Have a look at the paper like battery designed by the scientist Zhang Xiachang. The “Paper-like Battery” is only 0.5 millimeter thick and can be rolled like paper.

    paper battery

I wonder whether its a real battery or kinda concept. The scientist Zhang Xiachang is participating in the 2007 International Forum on New Material Research and Industry Development , so there are lots of chances that it could be true.

As far as i can comment on such a innovative battery, I hardly believe that it can power anything. Moreover with nano-technology batteries coming into picture, which will be able to power the appliances 10 times more than the normal LI ion batteries, these paper batteries hardly have a future, yeah, might be used for OLED displays .. What do you feel ???

If batteries can be such flexible, soon we’ll have most electronic devices flexible and smooth. Only problem for the manufacturer of mobile phones to make them flexible are the display and the batteries, So, Display’s are already there in the market. and soon we’ll see foldable mobile phones like Nokia’s concept phone Nokia 888
