Amazing is the only word to define such an elegant bluetooth headset , which transform itself into a ring with a simple twist. However, the OLED display is optional, this kind of design is surely a headturner.
Orb bluetooth headset is designed by Hybra Advance Technology and will be available in two variants in 2010.
The non-OLED variant will be available for USD 129 will be available in January 2010 and a Deluxe Variant for USD 165 will be available in April 2010. This bluetooth headset will also be available in various sizes based on your finger width. The deluxe edition which has a flexible OLED screen across the surface will be able to show transcribed voice messages, calendar reminders and caller ID. Both feature bone conduction to improve call quality.
Even though Orb displays an elegant bluetooth design, lack of ear plug might make it difficult to hear, in a noisy environment. Also, how well it will set on your ear is also a little matter of concern. But What may be, this twist design should provide enough thinking platform for bigger bluetooth manufactures, on creating headsets which are easy to carry too.
I will restrain myself from trying this bluetooth headset , but if you are searching for an engagement ring for your gadget freak girl friend, this could be the one ; ( may be
).
