To be frank , Nokia Ovi suite was a huge step forward, in getting rid of the PC suite. For me it was highly irritating that most of the time, before I could update my phone’s firmware, I had to download the updated Nokia Software updater. Then to load maps, I had to download Nokia Maps uploader, and things became worst when with the PC suite installation, you will get extra icons of Nokia Music , Nokia photos etc etc etc. That was the time when Nokia Ovi Suite Beta 2.0 came as a sigh of relief.
Just like every new software, specially in beta stage, Ovi Suite came with bugs, and recent release has fixed some of them. With a slick interface, it actually remind me of some application running on Mac OS. Anyways , here are the few bug fixes in this update :
- Music tracks can now be removed from Nokia Ovi Suite without them being deleted from the file system.
- Music sync related fixes. When syncing all music to device, the tracks which already exist in device are automatically ignored. This improves performance.
- Manual copying photos from a device to Nokia Ovi Suite works now.
- Many syncing related bug fixes.
- Map deletion related crash fixed.
- Improvements in contact editing and saving.
- We added links to Nokia Betalabs Nokia Ovi Suite page and discussion forum into Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 home view, so you can conveniently go reporting your issues into Nokia Betalabs.
If you are still a PC suite user, I think its high time now to download Nokia Ovi Suite.

Hey, I was wondering if all the bugs are fixed for the ipod touches because I was googling the reviews of some other people that bought them and either returned them or exchanged them.
