Better late than never 
. Nokia N8 is getting officially launched in Middle East on 22rd September 2010 and I will be there to welcome it along with many other bloggers/Media people.

Price/Availability
During my visit to a Nokia Store at UAE couple of days back, I was told that Nokia N8 will be available at retail stores anytime between last week of September( i.e after the official middle east launch). The expected price will be around 1999AED to 2199AED ( i.e 420 EUROs ~ 460 EUROs). However, you can also pre-order your Nokia N8 at any Nokia Middle east store.

I request you to kindly provide details abt the overall speed. try opening maps with browser etc.. heavy usage applications
