Here comes the news you were waiting for !! Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic is all set to be available in retail shops in India in January 2009 , with a price tag of INR 21,849 ( USD 439 ) .
You can read my review on Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic here. The price tag was not a surprise but it has silenced the rumors, that the phone will be priced much higher i.e around Euro 439.
Also announced is the scheduled launch of the beta version of the Nokia Music Store.
Nokia has also announced a tie-up with Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI, Warner, Tseries, Big Music and Yashraj.
The Nokia Music Store, an online music service is a part of OVI and will go live in December 2008.
