Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic Available in UAE for Sale at 1409 AED

WOW !!!! It was very much expected after Nokia’s Music Store went live in UAE , but I never knew its gonna be this fast. Yeah !! second week of December was very much expected, as the launch strategy follow the same routemap as India. First, launch of music store and second, launch Nokia 5800 as it “COMES WITH MUSIC”.

Secondly, I never knew that the price tag will be actually so low 1409 AED ~= 300Euros . The user segment in UAE is a premium segment and normally the retail stores keep the price high for atleast a month, to make a nice initial profit.

But Nokia kept its word and I hope this should stop every rumor in the world that Nokia is going to release this phone at a higher price. Nokia has already said that the phone price can go up if local stores club some other goodies with the phone.

However, I had a little momentary disappointment after holding the first Nokia touch device on my hand. It just gave me feel as if I am holding a plastic toy. The built is really cheap, but , as I said, it was momentary because I know it has to justify the price.

Also , I Am wondering the reason for such a dull launch at UAE ( no add in newspaper , no hype created !! )

However, I am really excited with the availability of nokia 5800 phone in UAE. If the momentary disappointment dont take over my excitement, I will be getting this phone hopefully tomorrow ..

And that will result in even more detailed conclusion
