Happiness is owning a Nokia phone ( atleast for me 
) … and what better could be than getting the first S60 Touch phone 
… So guys, finally , the much awaited Nokia’s First s60 Touch phone i.e Nokia 5800 is in the house.
After I came to know about the availability in UAE, it was difficult for me to control myself from buying this super cool gadget. I got it yesterday, and I was just fiddling around with it, nearly the whole day ..and I must say that I am really really surprised over the enormous improvement over everything.
At AED 1409 Its just a Steal
Yeah , approx Euro 306, but guess what , I got a Bluetooth Headset Free with this phone, hence at such a price, its really just a steal.
Before buying the phone , I was concerned about two things,
1. The plastic feel
2. The operating speed.
But to my surprise, the phone is just tooo fast , doesn’t hang and it knows, what exactly I want it to do. The plastic feel has stopped bothering me now , because the new phone is much better than the display piece I saw before. The design of the phone makes is very very comfortable to be held at one hand and doesn’t slip at all.
I must say , that I have fallen in love with this shiny gadget. Nokia has done a great job, and hence , the same goes for the next release Nokia N97.
So guys, if you are still double minded, whether to buy this phone or not, then I would suggest to GO FOR IT. Its one of the most feature rich , decently prized phone available in the market as of now.
Yeah a word of caution, If you are using iPhone, you might take some time to adjust to resistive touch technology, implemented in this phone.
The 5800 is out in February so I’ve heard. I was watching a couple of videos online and the texting especially looks amazing. I’ve never been a huge fan of touchscreen for the complications around texting but the on board QWERTY keyboard looks to of solved my problems.

Thanks guys. This phone is one of the best i have used till now.. However, there is a huge scope of development. As of now . me waiting for a software update, which will fix some issues.
