Chinese can do anything, as there seem to be no word like “impossible” for them. When I wrote a post about mobile phone projector, back in January, I mentioned that being a mobile market leader and technology trend setter, NOKIA might be the first one to implement such kinda stuff. Wrong wrong wrong !! This Chinese company proved everyone wrong including me.
However, this chinese phone doesnt match the specification of the cube sized projector as demonstrated by Microvision which boasted the following:
- 2.5 hours of continuous battery life sufficient to watch a full-length movie without a need for recharging.
- Projection of a DVD quality image with up to WVGA (848 X 480 pixels) resolution
- Projected range anywhere from 12 inches (30 cm) to 100 inches
These specification seems pretty high than the launched Chinese phone by ChinaKing (aka, CKing) which boast :
- 30 inch Projection
- 640X480 image resolution
- 2 hours of battery life
- manual focus adjustment
However, the phones looks damm ugly and seems like a mobile brick carrying stereo speakers. The manufactures have tried to make it beautiful by giving it an Iphone UI. I wonder how these guys from China come out with such creative ideas, and they are not scared in experimenting. They will blend two or more phones with latest technology, making big mobile manufactures look dwarf size.
Have a look at the pictures and do post your comments.

The Iphone UI.
