Found this news at softpedia and they took it from a blog kwisatz which states that
“On the left and the right of the circle containing the Vista logo there are two rectangular areas, and above and below them there are four minuscule holographic photographs. Here, you will be able to see one of them, the rest I don’t know yet what they are,”
Have a look at it …

According to Microsoft
All the images are intended as additional security measures designed as an integer part of the Vista “media, packaging and certificates of authenticity.”
Engadget has highlighted other examples also.
Do note that :
The images are less than 1mm in size and are not visible to the naked eye, so must be viewed using optical magnification. The photo displays members of the team who worked on the Windows Vista DVD hologram design.
Seems pretty interesting . Adding hologram was the popular choice among company’s to differentiate pirated and genuine products . Later came the 3d hologram which made the process more appreciable. And now is the latest by Microsoft , added so that Microsoft customers get what they paid for. Lets see what more is there in software giant’s bag to amaze more people.

Wow….but does this really works?
Yeah it does.. I didnt have an option to try . as i dont have vista CD ..but its there
wow, i never heard of that before. maybe because i don´t have the new vista yet. but i´ll wait until it´s reasonable to switch from xp to vista. until that day i stick to xp… anyway i don´t think that all these security things work. there will always be copies from china, eastern europe, etc.
Yeah !! Microsoft is ending support of XP by Jan’2008 . All the organizations will be switching to Vista. So its better for us to be prepared and get some Hands on the new OS.
