With the war of browsers i.e. Skyfire and Opera , its time to think where does the inbuilt mobile browser stand in the race ?? Are these companies manufacturing flagship mobile phone models are just so incapable of providing an inbuilt browser which can give users a rich web browsing experience.
I normally keep high hopes with Symbian S60 internet browser capabilities. Continuous development in the S60 browser keep the hope alive that no matter what , Symbian is atleast trying to compete with these companies.
With highly anticipated and much awaited Nokia tube i.e Nokia 5800 XpressMedia phone, things are actually getting interesting . This is not the first time Nokia tube’s pictures are leaked , but yeah, you can have a glimpse of S60 5th edition browser which will run on S60 touch.

With the picture you can make out that its not stylus dependent and may be having some options like Iphone to give users a really good browsing experience. However, with flash getting supported in current S60 3rd edition phones, we can be sure that things are just gonna be better.
My Wish
Ahhh .. and I have one wish which I hope come true with this browser (or tip me if any one of you know how it is possible ) :
Online music site like Dhingana.com should be supported on these mobile browsers. After all mobiles now have fast internet , speakers , excellent browsers with flash support… I wonder why these sites still not supported over a Wlan Hotspot.
I am just waiting for Nokia tube to get released. Just cant wait to see a real working model or a hands on video. Just cant understand , with so many pictures getting leaked, what nokia is actually waiting for to officially reveal this handset.

The first thing I always look when I buy a mobile is the browser features. I dont even worry if the phone call feature is available or not.
And much advanced browsers make life really easy.
@mobilejgames
Hey phone features are also important … Else it will just result in crashing of browser or very slow response. Ex: Wifi, in mobile is not a must have feature … second good ram so that browser doesnt crash while opening complex websites…support for flash etc etc…
As stated in my wish , i want these browsers to support online music sites… So that over a wifi spot i can hear my favourite songs…. I think that will actually result in loss of business to nokia music store and apple store
@kanak,
yes, ofcourse hardware spec is something that I check before my mind brings me an idea of buying that mobile. If you mean features, first thing that comes to my mind is the browser and the application platform support. In this case S60 is the best choice.
S60 is really a best choice … I actually wanted to test the skyfire browser which is now available for beta testing for US users only … Seems like it just gonna kill Opera mini and unborn opera 9.5 .. Wonder when mozilla mini is coming out for S60…
@Kanak
Am not surprised with Mozilla mini, as its going to be version 1.0 and nothing can come near Opera after this long journey of theirs. But lets see if they come up with some surprise.
as for me .. I am just waiting waiting waiting … first is the nokia’s touch screen handset .. second is the a new browser … skifire .. opera 9.5 or mozilla…
