Gmail know what problems people face at times while using an email service. In every other email service, the moment you press the send button, there is nothing you can do to prevent it from getting delivered unless you mistyped the email address.
The same sigh of relief, now comes as a panic button is Gmail, where you can abort already sent message, by pressing the “Undo Send” within 5 seconds of sending the email.
Even though, I think this 5 second time should be increased a little to about 10 seconds or more, its great to see that the Gmail team is trying to work out of the box, to provide such Smarter solution to its users. No wonder, Gmail is the best email solution available on the web. This feature doesn’t come as drawback, as many will think because
1. Its totally optional for a user to enable this option.
2. As mentioned on Gmail official blog
This feature can’t pull back an email that’s already gone; it just holds your message for five seconds so you have a chance to hit the panic button. And don’t worry – if you close Gmail or your browser crashes in those few seconds, we’ll still send your message.
Activate it
Turn on Undo Send in Gmail Labs under Settings, and you’ll see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail confirmation.

Google really knows how to do things differently.

This is excellent advice, the button can come in extremely handy when your sending important emails, etc.
That’s a great feature, but I don’t think it is possible to implement an “unlimited” undo feature, unless it was from gmail to other gmail emails, hehe.
