“Claim your content” coming soon on Youtube !!

Yeah !! you heard it right, time has come that you must ” Broadcast only Youself ” as per stated by Youtube logo i.e “Broadcast yourself”. Yeah the much much awaited Copyright policy for content on Youtube , is going to be out soon, somewhere in September . This is again an alarm for many sploggers who upload others content claiming their own. Watermark on a video , till where it can help ??

Google acquired YouTube-Video sharing in November, 2006 for $1.65 billion. And also have paid hefty prices for so many Copyright Infringement matter after so many videos were uploaded without the permission of the actual owners. Google have never hesitated in providing the personal information of the people, when demanded , who were found guilty in terms of republishing of copyright material.

Sometime back, while searching a nokia video in youtube, related videos were cramped with the same video republished by more or less sploggers who uploaded the video again, and then embeded the same on their site, where the video also works as a means of advertising for their blog. But I think always the genuine video is the one which is highly viewed !!!

How much copyright is important, you will only come to know when you become a victim of such cases, so I think its the right time for you to copyright your blog content as done by me ( Thanks Cristian ) . Do you own a similar kind of copyright section for your blog ??
