Its the tag line of Google “Dont be Evil” and I think apple’s must be the totally opposite. Apple has always dictated the way consumers should use its product. Let it be in the music format or hardware design, consumers always surrendered to what Apple decided, but now its just going over the head.
Apple has rejected the Google Voice Iphone application for app store. Google Voice is a next-generation telephone management system that allows users to share a single number among all their phones. It also provides SMS, voicemail, and speech-to-text conversion of incoming voicemail messages. All for free.
And following was the reaction of a Google correspondent:
We work hard to bring Google applications to a number of mobile platforms, including the iPhone. Apple did not approve the Google Voice application we submitted six weeks ago to the Apple App Store. We will continue to work to bring our services to iPhone users — for example, by taking advantage of advances in mobile browsers.
We all know that iPhone as of now is exclusively available only to AT&T and hence once Google Voice is available for iPhone, users may not want to pay for services, which they get free with Google voice. Hence to protect AT&T , Apple ended up rejecting this voice app.
I think imposing such kind of restrictions, apple is doing nothing more than hindering innovation and thereby restricting capabilities of The iPhone. Apple should be ashamed. And it’s iPhone applications monopoly should be broken.
I used to believe that apple will always set positive trends, but I am proved wrong. But do iPhone users have a choice ?? Is there still another iPhone out yet ???

That is not right marketing further strategies because as a marketer and if some one is involved in the creation of new technological advance innovation should not stop the Google application as because if you stop the upcoming psychology on your applictaion regardless Google is the greats rivalry of Apple.
